TuneFlow. What is it?
TF is about showing the world that there is much, much more than what the major record labels and the near-monopoly radio stations try to force down our throats. Like our name suggests, we let the music FLOW...ALL the music!

TF brings together independent artists from all over the world to compete in a monthly "song tournament." TuneFlow members review and rate the songs submitted for the tournament. The songs with the highest average ratings win cash, prizes, recognition, and bragging rights at TuneFlow.

The tournament is a great way for music lovers to discover exciting new music and artists. It's also very fun because they get to help decide which songs win the tournament each month. For the artists, it's the perfect way to attract new fans, while at the same time getting invaluable feedback (through the reviews) to learn how to make their songwriting and playing even better.

In addition to the monthly tournament, artists are invited to upload and sell any original music they've recorded in the TuneFlow Music Store, all without any contracts or ongoing obligations. Individual tracks can be purchased by members for as little as 49 cents each, with 45% going to the artist (compared to the music industry standard royalty of just 12-15%). Plus, TuneFlow's "Support This Artist!" program can boost the total percentage to 82%!

TuneFlow also provides artists with a Website, airplay of their music on TuneFlow's streaming radio station, and even a way to advertise their live performances -- all at no cost to the artist.

Why TuneFlow?
Because we're about you! Independent musicians are making incredible music and it's time the masses got the news. And while we don't quite qualify as a non-profit organization, we LOVE music, and our guiding principle is that the artist is #1. We don't exist without the music. Period. Therefore, everything about TF revolves around our artists. The lion's share of all revenue TF generates goes to the artists. We've also designed TF so you get all the benefits of a record label but without any contracts or other inane restrictions. In short, at TF, the artist is KING (think of us as your humble servants).

How the TuneFlow Tournament works
Each month, TF posts four new song titles for the tournament. You will choose one of the titles, then write, record, and submit (by the deadline) an original new song based on the chosen title.

Following the deadline, on the first of the month, the new tournament goes live. TF members review the tournament entries all during the month, giving you detailed feedback. With each review, the members also rate your song on a scale from 1-10. The average of these ratings determines your final placement in the tournament.

If you place either first, second, or third for the title you chose, you'll win a portion of our monthly cash pool. The cash pool consists of a portion of every music sale and gear sale at TF. There are also prizes awarded for placing 4th-10th.

In addition to the opportunity to win the "title completion," we also recognize the top ten placers in each of TF's 14 musical genres (e.g. Rock, Hip/Hop, Blues, etc.). Finally, you'll have the opportunity to earn major recognition as "Artist Of The Year."

How to get started
1. Register your band and create your free Artist Profile Website here.

2. Head over to the "Artist Zone" where you can:

• Start uploading your songs for sale at the TuneFlow Music Store.
• Enter your live gigs into the TuneFlow "Gig Search."

3. Enter the tournament if desired (see below).

How to enter the TuneFlow Tournament
