Reviewing/Rating Tunes FAQ

I want to review and rate some songs. How do I do that?
Just click on the "Rate Tunes" button on the menu bar or click here. A song in one of your four favorite music genres (you told us your favorite genres when you registered) is automatically queued up for you.

Can I choose the songs or artists I want to review?
No, because it would allow biased voting to skew the results of the tournament. You will however get to review songs in your favorite music genres, and you will never review songs in your least favorite genres.

What if I really like a song that I've reviewed and I want to get a copy of the song?
You can download a copy of the song immediately for as little as 79 cents. Or, for every three RFPs you earn, you get one download credit, which you can use to download a FREE copy of the song.

How many songs do I have to review?
That's totally up to you. None, one, or a whole lot. We hope you'll do LOTS though because the more reviews you do, the more great new music you'll get to hear.

Do I have to do all my reviews at one time?
No, you can do reviews any time you wish throughout the month. As many or as few as you like.

Do I get anything for reviewing songs?
Yes! For every three RFPs you earn, you get one FREE download credit, which you can use on ANY TuneFlow song of your choice.

Once I've posted a review, can I change it?
No. Please make sure everything is how you want it before submitting a review.

Will the artist be able to personally identify the author of a review?
Authors of reviews are anonymous. The artist will only see your TF member "screen name."

Can I contact an artist directly?
Some artists include their email address on their TF Band Profile Webpage. Otherwise, no.
