Singer/songwriter Hugo (the moss) draws inspiration from folk and rock. Hugo has also tracked some blues artists like, Keb Mo, Corey Harris, kelly joe phelps. As a teenage 70s and 90s rock supporter and Pearl jam admirer started to play guitar in the mid-90s, and began to write his own rock driven songs shortly afterward. Hugo became serious about performing while attempting to make music with school colleagues in the late '90s. In 2002 starts composing this time for his own solo project. Playing in small clubs and music challenges around Porto between 2002 and 2004, Hugo ended diffuse words demo CD (home recording) and got to National Radio ANTENA 3 Quinta dos Portugueses 2004 contest, 12 bands selected between hundreds. Now, with Joel Maia on Bass, Marcelo Araújo on drums and as a trio, together with some guests, Studio EP the moss is the most recent trace of Moss's music journey.
